[45-minute Webinar] The First Mile- Single Family Loan Document Processing in 37 Minutes
CHFA and Buddha Logic Share How to Reduce Loan Processing Time From Days to Less Than One Hour
With a focus on community development and affordable housing, CHFA has been serving Colorado’s homeowners since 1973. CHFA partners with a network of participating Colorado lenders to assist homeowners through mortgage programs, grants, down payment support, closing cost assistance, purchasing and refinancing loans. With so many loan applicants, CHFA sought to improve processing times through implementation of a secure document delivery portal. Through the use of Kofax Transformation Module (KTM) software, Buddha Logic designs a content management strategy to transform and automatically classify these incoming documents digitally. Further improvements were made to the document capture process with the use of analytic software and identification of key performance indicators (KPIs). By tracking how long a document spends in each step of the workflow and reducing the lag time spent between steps, CHFA achieves incremental improvements in document processing time. Without increasing headcount, CHFA sees almost a 50% increase in loan processing volume. This Webinar was hosted on 02/22/2017.
